How long you guys hold onto open packages of sausage seasoning? I have several different varieties I've been keeping in the fridge for about 2 years now, some are curlys and some Owen's. Some of them only come in a 25# mix which was too much at the time so they got split..

I've had the same dilemma.  Splitting a batch and then freeze it.  Just like other seasonings that we were talking about.  I need to keep them fresher and throw the old stuff.

We're just the opposite as we both worked a lot of 2nd shift(3-11) so the evening meal was usually a sandwich or something pretty light. Breakfast & lunch are still our bigger meals.

Whe I was on nites, got home at about 7:00 am...and ate bfast. Eggs, toast, whatever. Sleep until about 3-4 PM, then eat lighly usually bfast.  Seems like all I ever ate was bfast. I hated friggin' nites, and not just 'cuz they were 12 hr shfts.

Boar must have hrs like I do, I eat lunch between 7:30 and 8 am. Usually the pooches and I have a snack around 3 after work then its a full blown dinner. Even the weekend I'm digging for some filling grub early,  so not much for breakfast,  but it does happen.

I did a lot of 3rd too, mostly at White Farm, & actually preferred that as there was a lot less supervision as 1 guy pretty much covered all the machine shop. So I could just get my work done, had a good job so I'd get my pc work done in 5-6 hrs & was able to just look busy the rest without being bothered. I wasn't much for bfast  but on the weekends then.
