Crazy, the game on ESPN before the gopher game was cancelled 2 hours before kickoff. Think that's like 5 bowl games already.

they showed a stat of the offensive line. the gophers offense was 27 lbs heavier then the vikings offensive line!!!!!!

and i was awake the whole game!!!!

Stayed awake too. Parts of the game were entertaining but the 2nd half was a yawner. Wet Vagina is a terrible football team. Gophers D played very well. Morgan overall looked awful altho his receivers falling down a few times weren't necessarily his fault. Field was a disaster. Wet, new sod, horrible footing. Glad they won but playing in venues like that is what happens when you get invited to a Fart Bowl because you lost to the likes of Bowling Green and Illinois. Lucky no one on either side was seriously injured.

I did exactly that but still didn't make it to the end. Recorded it and finished watching this morning. Gophers definitely had the better team. To bad they lost those games to Bowling Green and Illinois. They would have been playing Michigan for the championship and lost....Go to Rose Bowl.

I actually made it till the third quarter and then went to bed.  They did a good job even though the field was just plowed and seeded last week.  What a joke that was.

Yeah I root for the Cyclones a lot, but not when they're playin the Hawkeyes & last I looked Clemson was favored by almost a TD. Most are lookin at a multi- million $ payday & not wanting to get hurt in a meaningless bowl game.  That is a no brainer for almost all of 'em. Jefferson is a perfect example, he came out as a junior & signed a $13 mil/4 year deal.

Think what ya want, I don't necessarily disagree with ya gunner, but still think there bailing out on there teammates. Not gonna convince me otherwise.

  I'd bet  at least 80% of their teammates would do the very same thing without thinkin twice about it ...................................if they had the chance.

I can't fault them for doing that. Not with enough money to live on for the rest of there life at stake. Besides they are playing w/o getting paid. College football is basically the minor league teams for the NFL. If I was pretty sure of that, I would probably not play either.

After watching both those games....Sure looks like the SEC is a lot better than anyone else. Georgia will get the chance to avenge that loss to Alabama.
