at this point I don't see it. Between my honey de list at home and going to the cabin, until I can't I won't get bored. I can always find things to do. It's that dead of winter thing

since i'm turning 65 in sept. i've been getting all this medicare crap in the mail!!!!!!!! gotta be 4 times a week.

anyway about 3 weeks ago i recieved from SS my medicare card with a 9-1- effective date. so i had alrready had some conversations with both them and the Union Insurance plan. getting that card i made 2 more phone calls mainly to verify and ask questions!!!!!

looks like i'm set up and ready to go, all my leg work is done and shouldnt be any issues. everything will roll over and start 9-1!!!!!! get the basic hospitalization and medical stuff thru medicare and my prescriptions are covered under my union plan!! i still wonder sometimes if its worth looking into vision and dental however?????? i did some math on it a while back and just not thinking its worth the premiums???

anyhow.......just good to have that straightened out and off my mind!!!!!!

Pretty much the same here, except my start date was March. So, when I got my SS & Medicare cards in January, I already knew I was eligible for the $0 premium Advantage plan that I have. Just signed up for that with a March start date & bingo...................all done. I do get dental & vision with mine, however. Dental still costs me as my dentist is out of network, but they cover about 40% of a cleaning, twice a year. Vision is new glasses every 2 years, they pay ~ 60%, & all the exam.
