I just got done watching Escanaba In Da Moonlight which I had never fully watched before. It got me thinking, what are some of your favorite hunting movies of all time? I always watch the Fred Bear hunting series in the winter to get me fired up for next year and would love some other content to watch.

Escanaba In Da Moonlight was a video we watched at our hunting camp opening weekend for years.

There are a lot of silly and over played parts in the movie, but some of it brings back old memories of years gone by.  :happy1:
Cooking over a open fire is all fun and games until someone losses a wiener!

Since there aren't a lot to choose from, and if we might stretch the definition of "hunting movie" just a bit...

I'd nominate The Great Outdoors.  :bonk:

Dunno many hunting movies, but I have Escanbanna in da moon light and watch it every year the night before rifle season.... and of course, we made pasties (wife hates them, but we still make them)

Then, when that movie is done....we start the Monty Python marathon.....  :rotflmao:

LOL....No glenn "hunting movie"....wild kingdom...lol.

Sunday afternoon was "American sportsman" as a youngster,Gowdy was the narrater.

Agreed with Fred Bear clips, man before his time bow hunting, never had tried Fred's whittail stalking tatic...Fred would pull a thick pair of wool socks over his hunting boots to minumize the dry leaves crunch as he would sneak around, back in the day we all wore leather boots before rubber knee boots became the trend

Could we be married to the same woman and not know it?     Why do women hate those things?  What's not to love about them!?!

Braveheart. Always liked the scene where Wallace was drawing on the deer and the crazy Irishman saved his bacon. Some other cool critters in the flick including the oxen during the first part of the movie.

Time itself is bought and sold, the spreading fear of growing old contains a thousand foolish games that we play. (Neil Young)

She says she "has a problem" with root vegetables... She'll eat potatoes and some beets. But when it comes to rutabagas or turnips, it's a no go.

I get a kick out of watching Elmer Fudd chasing Buggs Bunny. Does that count?
I wonder. Does Darth Vader have a sister named Ella? Bet she has her ups and downs.
