Thanks Gunner, I'm kinda taking one for the team here. I figure a day or two of drinking real beer maybe he'll give up that river water he drinks. On a serious note I am interested in seeing the spearing set-up and he has been good enough to offer to show me around. The least I can do is provide real beer.

Glenn, I had some nice ice forming on the lake until this wind came along. Now I have a bunch of ice chunk on the shore.

I haven’t seen much in the way of ice around Grand Rapids. The ponds and small lakes have some, but even the small lakes have some open water. Pokegama had heavy whitecap action today.
I see there’s a decoy show next Saturday at Timberlake.

Our lake was still down 2' when we pulled our boat so I'm with you Bobber in that I'm hopin for a lot of snow this year to bring the water level back up too. 'Sposed to be on Jury Duty in January anyway, so might as well keep everybody of the lake. :sleazy: :nerd: :nerd:

I like the cover on the spear, it will make the release more successful. Just throw and and give them a bump! Genius idea Glenn, you can make some additional retirement income off this idea.   ;)
