I noticed lots of deer tracks around a crab apple tree in my backyard so I set out a block of sugar beet feed nearby.  Nothing came near it since just after Christmas so yesterday I move it and my camera to the apple tree. The pictures below were taken within hours of setting this up. At first the deer were skittish about the bucket under the tree but it didn't take long for them to check it out.

***I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it.***

Great pics, DE. Between your backyard and your hunting parcel, I think you’re a deer magnet.
