I thought I should show my vintage tractor.  The 1951 Allis WD.  My line of equipment is by it.  My brush mower, homemade back blade, (came with tractor) homemade bale spear (I made it).  I also have a great set of chains for it. It is 3 years older than me and we both run great!!!

Those WD's were always nice machines. That slip clutch was great for PTO work. Raked hay with one of the neighbor's a few years back. Hadn't driven one for a while. It didn't take long to figure out how to operate it unlike some of the later Deere's with their "mystery shift" pattern. Could just hop on and go.  Too bad the 80's took down both Allis & IH.

Remember I took it to Elk River to Lon's tractors and we took the loader off, split the tractor, put in a rebuilt clutch and put it back together and he also added some things that were missing on it for me and did it all in a day.  I was headed home by 5:30.  Great guy too!  I ran it for so long with the worn out clutch that it feels funny now with it working correctly.  All of that cost $700 and he included a newer front rim cuz on of mine is getting pretty bad.  I thought that was pretty good.  Just to buy a new clutch for it alone is $600 from one place that I checked.  No installation.
