Yep went ni- nite early. No lines down overnight.

Lines in the water since 7 am. Couple little dink saugar.

Well i was concerned for are buddy, so i drove up ther to zipple bay last night, and as i expexted, i found glenn cowering in the corner sucking his thumb, with hooks imbeded in his shirt a huge rats nest in both reels, his vexilar sitting in the hole and minnow flopping all around him. He was rocking back and forth muttering, boar was right boar was right boar was right.
While his other buddy was hammering the fish, he caught 5 keeper walleyes, in the time it took me to help glenn back in his chair, i left the hooks in his shirt as a reminder, i re strung his lines, fishes his sonar out the hole, put on a proper jig, and set a set lin for him. He look me in the eye, and as a tear ran down his cheeck said...You wer right boar, you wer right. I know buddy, its ok. Yu come home tomorrow. Everything is gona be ok. 1 more night...he said NOOOOooooo!! I cant do it!!!! I left him scream! Booooooar take me with you!! I cant do it!!! I stoped at my truck, a tear now ran down my cheeck...i thought, tough love glenn, tough love buddy. I got in my truck and left,  as looked in the rearviw mirror, i thought i saw him running after me with a fish, yelling I did it!!! But it was just a hopefull vision.....cause he woulda stole it from his buddy...

Pretty slow this morning. brought 2 up, and a few swings and misses  where staying warm though!!

Oh yea, forgot, we left 2 rattle reels down in hopes af that monster walleye or Roberts grandpa, but no such luck.

We are about a 1/2 north of st cloud. The road from LOTW'S until wadena sucked then add a few pokey drivers

I know everyone has their best routes. But turning in Motley and taking 64 north is a bit shorter route. Just an FYI. We have  traveled many of them.

I wasn't driving or giving directions since this is the first trip up there.  I'll suggest it next time.

Made it home about 5. Think I need a wire brush in the shower. 

Another note. I don't remember seeing ice that thick in a long long time.
