I'm laying this beatdown, 15-2 by the Mets on Gunner. Not that I'm superstitious but he failed to check in with todays starter and game time.    :tut:

I have found (Thank you Bally's) I can listen to the game on radio and follow along on the Athletic for $1 a month. Between those options and some internet sites I seem to keep up to date.

Bally's and the cable company's can kiss my  :moon: I'm done with them.

Meh.  The damage has already been done.  They are back to being the "Little Engine that Could."  :coffee:

We'll see what they do, but all indications are that they won't do anything to improve the team at the trading deadline unless they can dump salary at the same time.   :undecided:   That could be bloggers making their own weather, but we've all seen how this team operates.  :embarrassed:

For me, I have lost interest (or never got it this season).  Perhaps others in the fanbase agree.

There is no law against running your sports franchises against a tight bottom line, but fan's want their team to win.  Clearly the Pohlads value the bottom line over winning.

If the Twins can make some noise with the guys they have, God bless 'em.  And "if they don't win its a shame..."  :drinking:

I'll wait for the list of teams and owners that consistently operate at a loss in favor of winning.

Another loss to the Mets, 2-0.

Bats are again on vacation and I don't think it's because of facing superior pitching. They need Correa back.

Twins did make a move as they trade a Class A minor league infielder to the Blue Jays for Trevor Richards a RH middle inning guy. Lopez goes today @ 12.

I have to admit I had a very negative reaction when first saw this Nike ad series.  But the more I saw it, the more I understood it.  They aren't wrong.

Winning isn't for everyone.

They were just giving an update on Kepler leaving the game yday & continued to talk about Stewart(15-day IL) & Correa. Provus said he wouldn't be surprised if Correa didn't see the field until the start of the upcoming series with Cleveland. They have 3 with the WSox starting tomorrow, then 3 with the Cubs starting Monday. Next Thursday is a day off, so the Cleveland series will start on 8/9.

P.S.  My 'Winning isn't for everyone" post wasn't a dig at the players or coaches - they work their butts off and I appreciate and still enjoy them for that.

The post is for the owners.  And I know we've been around this block before...  It ain't a crime to save your money.

He got hit in the head with the catcher's throw to 2nd base & was called for interference. They said he passed all the early concussion protocols & is now listed as day-to- day.

Then let's see the Twins take care of business.  No excuses.  Let's make it 0-20 for the Whities.

The Twins don't want to kick away an 'easy' game this weekend that they'll want to have in the "W" column in September.

Royce Lewis homers in the 1st and Twins lead 2-0 after 1 against the White Sux.
