Twins beat the hapless White Sux again. Jeffers & Kepler homer. Both KC & Cleveland lose so the Twins pick up a half game on both.

  KC was a 1/2 game up on the Twins to start the day yday, now they're a 1/2 game down. So, that's 1 full game. They most likely hadn't updated the standings yet, is what I've found. Cleveland still has the best record in MLB with 67 wins but are now 5.5 up on the Twins, it was 6.5 to start Saturday. SWR goes today @ 1.

This may not be exact but close.  Last night I thought they said that Kepler has 162 home runs.  1 behind Sano who has the most HR of any Twin in history.  That surprised me.  So Pucket and Hurbeck and Killebrew have less?

Twins beat em down 13-7 today. The White Sux truly do suck. Maybe the Pohlads aren't the worse owners in the world like many think.

Couple big ones in Chicago against the Cubs before Cleveland and KC come to town. Next couple of weeks will go along way towards how they end up this year.

It was good to see 'em take their walks yday, they had 9. Along with 14 hits, that's a lot of guys on base. They need to keep that mojo going today at Wrigley. Festa gets the ball today @ 7.

The bullpen was good too. But Larnach's base running in the 3rd inning was not. Neither was the HP umpire; Castro's 1st strike might've been 8-10"' too low. He was very inconsistent the entire game which sparked many comments from Provus & Hawkins. I sure hope he doesn't get to work the playoffs. They are 15 games over .500 for the 1st time this season. Lopez goes tonight @ 7.

Imananga was on, Lopez was not. The good news is that KC lost but Cleveland's was postponed, so they'll play 2 today. Ryan gets the ball today; 1st pitch is scheduled for 1:20. MLB has it too, if anyone gets that.

Correa (heel) is unlikely to join the Twins during their four-game series against the Cleveland Guardians that begins Friday, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. "He's ramping up his running right now," said Twins manager Rocco Baldelli. "He's not sprinting yet. When he's able to sprint and run the way he needs to, he's going to go on a rehab assignment and go get some at-bats. Then he'll be on his way back at that point. He has not hit that point yet."

Ryan was to have an MRI yday & we should hear something on that before today's game, I would think. It's a double header today & Ober gets the ball for the early game @ 1. No starter has been named for Cleveland for the 1st game that I could see. Varland has the late game @ 7.
