I didn't find the game on TV yesterday but now Sjoberg cable announced that we have MLB channel and all Twins games will be on 645 HD and 45 regular TV.  :happy1:  SO I am still a fan.  LOL

We have a MLB channel on HD and on non HD now.  It is MLB12.  ??   Glad to see and no extra charge.  I think their phone was ringing off the hook from people wondering. My buddy north of Luverne loves baseball like you do Gunner.  His cable station is actually right across the border in SD.  He doesn't miss a game and is 78 with health problems so the game is important to him.  So far his cable company hasn't got the Twins on yet.  Today it is on Fox so he can watch it.  I don't know if he can buy it or not.

Good news for Twins fans is they seem to have the TV thing figured out. Bad news for Twins fans is they are 0-2 and look pitifull doing it. Good news for Twins fans, it's a long season and they will be better. Bad news for the Pohlads the fans have a long memory and they won't forget how they've been treated. Looking forward to the empty stadium for home games.

Relief pitcher Dobnak pitched 5 innings after Ober gives up 8 runs in 2 innings. Then after the game....Dobnak gets released. Is that a kick in the you know what or not.

This.   :coffee:

Why did Twins DFA Randy Dobnak after he pitched well vs. Cardinals?

Why would the Twins DFA a guy who was one of the lone bright spots of an awful season-opening series in St. Louis? The answer has to do with Dobnak's unique contract and the unfortunate nature of MLB roster shuffling...

Feel free to read the rest of the article on your own.

The season's only three days old and it looks like Rocco is goona have to scratch and claw for wins every single day.

Rocco left Paddack in there to take the pounding I'm sure in hope of saving the bullpen. The good thing is if they give up another run (10) I think they are allowed to throw a position player out there.

Never give up? Twins pull Buxton, Correa after 3 innings as White Sox hammer Paddack

I quote:  ...Even more discouraging was the Twins pulling Byron Buxton and Carlos Correa after three innings on Monday, essentially waving the white flag when down 9-0 with 18 outs to go. That's the definition of never give up, is it not?

The good news for Joe Nelson, Twins Beat writer for Sports Illustrated...  This story was already an hour old when the game was still in the bottom on the 8th!!!     Joe ain't goona have trouble making publishing deadlines this season.   :rotflmao:

Taking Correa & Buxton out of a 9-0 game is the right thing to do. The chances of winning the game at that point is less than 10-1.  If he leaves them in and they get hurt then what? The season is only 4 games old.

Still, it IS discouraging that Rocco has to pull his star players out of the fourth game of the season because he is afraid of them getting hurt.  Sadly, ownership/management has decided to stake the season's success solely on two fragile superstars who can't stay healthy.
 :pouty:
If that's what fans have to look forward to, its goona be a long season with not much to get excited about.

No hitting and no pitching after 4 games.

And Rocco  :surrender: :surrender: :surrender:

Maybe they just don't like playing when it's 40 degrees at game time and NOONE in the stands.
