Here are pics of the dock.  When I turn it in the fall it is of course floating then freezes in place.  You can see how much lower the river is than the dock.  I didn't realize it is so low.  We may be sitting on bottom once the ice below it melts again this year.

Nice pics Barry. Ya, we are still really low from last year and there is not much run off so far this spring either.

It gets deeper the closer you get to Canada here at our place.  Canada is on the outside of a bend of the river.  It is 30' there and 10' off the end of our dock appx.

Are you able to launch your boat there or do you take it to a DNR access? Hows the currant in front of your place?

I turn the floater out into the river and then roll the other dock out to meet it.  I have to go to the city launch sites to put my boat in.  They are great launch sites too. Very well maintained.

We have light rain all day.  Glad to see it.  Well the dogs and I took a walk down to the river after they ate.  Cooper ran right to the edge of the ice and it broke off and he fell in.   I started crawling towards him and just as I grabbed his scruff he got up by himself.  I am sure my being there helped motivate him.
