It's going to be fun in about 20 years after all these EV start getting old and land fills start filling with dead batteries. Suppose there will be a New-New Green Deal by then?  :doah:
It kind of reminds me of how cheap older Elc golf carts are going for on Market Place when it costs almost as much as it's worth to replace all the batteries.  :bonk: :bonk:

Solid point

Who remembers the strike master electa lazer? I bought one about 10-15 years ago. Stupid thing drilled no more than12-15 holes. Vowed never to buy electric again. I’m now running a milwaukee with a kdrill and could probably punch 60-80 holes on a battery 1/3 the size. I’d hope they’d only get better and last longer. Honestly, I think batteries have made a way better progression in the last 10-15 years than gas has over the last 50 years.

Anyways, I’m tapping out. Strong points on both sides. Time will tell. No need to get panties up in a bunch. It’s still America and we’ll still have choices.

Heck I thought this was a good discussion. Good points all around. I would say the first electric atv was the Bad Boy Buggy.
Hey look your bobber is up!

A buddy of mine has had one of those electric bikes and loves it.  He puts 1500 miles a year on it just cruising around where he lives.  I can see where they might be fun. Pedal until you are tired.

Agreed LP,I've been eye balling one of these e-bikes for the last year,60-70 mile range top speed 20mph...,big price range,$2k-5k...I'm all about paying extra for quality, over the years when I had my harly I was hit 3 times, twice on my old schwin 10speed in my younger days, besides e bikes price range, today we have so many folks texting/driving,it's scary in a small vehicle these days on the freeway let alone on a peddle bike.

Just saw on the news this morning about a guy on a long bicycle trip that got hit by a truck.  Scary to trust all of those big vehicles when on a bicycle.  Those electric ones go off road nice to which would be fun.

That's what I was wondering. My zero turn struggles on slopes like this one...
