some good basic information most folks don't do or think about but this author lost me  on item #4 "learn to aim,poor advice shotgunning,aiming like a rifle will result in lost birds/targets,one eye shooting,shot gunning is about "pointing"  both eyes open not aiming,a well fitted shotgun will eliminate this aiming aspect which will compromise your shots,but that's my take,do what ya want shotgunning is great fun whether targets or birds in the field.

Bead checking is another big mistake shotgunners make,but iffin your having fun when numbers don't count or less birds in the bag have at it.
