A hometown date will bring the reality show to the Twin Cities.

Minneapolis resident Leslie Fhima is one of three remaining contestants hoping to find love with the bachelor, 72-year-old retired restaurateur Gerry Turner.

Fhima, 64, is former professional figure skater and currently works as a personal trainer. She was previously married to Twin Cities chef and restaurateur David Fhima.

Welp...  The "Golden Bachelor" picked picked his cougar last night.  'Cept you can't really call her a cougar if she is younger than he is.  Naw...  She's a cougar.

Funny, he didn't pick the motorcycle-riding, lap-dancing cougar from Minneapolis.

But its like I told my wife...  Getting a lap dance from the same woman night after night gets old in a...

They all look the same to me!

I've never been in to reality TV - especially these ridiculous "match-making" shows. What kind of person thinks they'll find the right partner this way? It's all for the attention and drama. I'd rather turn off the TV and go fishing.

Couldn't agree more Sharon.  What normal person is going to go on national TV and pick a mate?  I peek now and then and usually doesn't last long till I am rolling my eyeballs.  And turning the channel.

What I can't believe is some of these reality shows are still on. Survivor? Naked and Afraid? Dancing with the Stars? Big Brother? Stumble across them when channel surfing every once in a while looking for Clint Eastwood flicks. Of course, since the TV in the bedroom is tuned into Dr. Pol, Gunsmoke, King of Queens, and Tales of Wells Fargo every nite, that's about all the reality TV I can handle...:coffee:

Man for the first I don't know 8 or 9 years of Survivor a group of friends and I were into that every week.  Boston Rob and the cute girl he met and married and things like that were fun.  I tuned in cuz it was on last week but didn't watch long.
