maybe. Out of surgery and talked to the surgeon. All went extremely well.

But it's going to be a while. no weight on that side, 6 weeks of antibiotics then 8 weeks of none they'll then retest for the MERSA and if it's gone put in a new implant.

Thanks guys.  Talked to her this morning already. She misses me!!

In good spirits. She needs help heading to the bathroom as they don't want any movement in that hip. Sounds like physical therapy a couple times today. Maybe a 3 day stay. She needs to be seen by infectious disease people yet.

Talked to the wifey a bit ago. She had a good nite, slept well. She sleeps on her side alot, butt can't with this spacer think that is going to catch up with her.

Therapy didn't go so well this morning.  From my understanding lack of good notes, a new therapy person wires were crossed. He wanted her to do therapy as if she had a hip replacement!!

Waiting for this culture to grow but sounds like a picc line goes in tomorrow. The culture results will determine what drugs she gets! Looks like Tuesday she may get out

Personally I think there needs to be more therapy to help her understand how she can move about, but that's just me!

Just talked to the wifey, she's been kept pretty busy with medical people.

Sounds pretty chipper, or drugged up!! she'll be heading home tomorrow. And the granddaughter is bringing her home. No crapzy cities driving for me!👍
