thanks guys.yes its great news..........doc said things look good based on bloodwork. now its up to the surgeon to decide how long she goes before they draw fluids out of the hip area to see if the infection is gone.

my wife is getting kinda giddy. on monday we go down to the U. there going to do an aspiration, sticking a needle in her hip area to pull some fluid out. then try and grow a culture, is nothing grows they can schedule to replace that spacer with a new artificial hip. we are looking at mid march if everything works out. its been a long 4 1/2 months for her!!!!!

i'm not looking forward to the drive down as of now based on the weather forecast, says wintery mix, but the appointment is for mid morning so should avoid rush hour traffic.

we wanted to stop and visit with her sister and BIL, he's not doing good!!!!!!
