Super Bowl bets

I am not a big gambler by any means but I do bet with my brothers on total Viking wins for the season and then some Super Bowl bets.   I bet $50 that at the end of the first quarter there will be over 9.5 pts on the board.  Both teams combined.  I also bet $50 that there will be a lead change in the 4th quarter. Then I bet $100 on Philly to win.  All is my winnings on the regular season wins so nothing out of pocket.  With Mahomes high ankle sprain I sided with Philly who I am not a fan of at all.

An early Sportscenter I was watching did a short pc at the end of the show on some of offbeat stuff you can bet on in the SB. The 1st on their list was if the national anthem would be longer than 9.5 minutes. The 2nd was a mutiple choice bet on what color the Gatorade that the winning coach got a bath in at the end would be, 4 colors. The last was an over/under on if Rihanna would do 9 songs or not.

I wish I could!!!   it is one of those that changes with each score!!!   I have a dickens of a time keeping up with it!!!

i used to get numbers.....dont anymore. for a while we had a group of 10 couples would throw 50 bucks on a 0 to 9 board. winner would throw the party the next year.

another board i used to be on you pull a ticket and those numbers would be good for about anything and seemed the scores would be least important. it would be the # of the ref, # of the player that scored  the first TD, and field goal, the yard line the kick return got tackled. it was called a crazy board for a reason!!!!!!

I understand gambling is just entertainment but for me it's getting way out of hand. Lets worry if the National Anthem singer can actually sing rather than how long it takes him / her.

I don't have a nickel on the game but I will be checking my Powerball ticket soon.

Ther used to be a 0-9 board on this area years ago, and im not kiding, 1000.00 bucks a square, do the math. All the big farmers would get it on it. Havent heard much about it in the last 10 yrs

Yea some are spendy. There are 100 square boards for 100 bucks a square. There's more different types of super bowl boards than a guy can shake a stick at.  Around here especially in bars up there pretty much on the lowdown as a bunch of bars got busted. Rumor had it someone got pissed and turned them in.

Didn’t get to see Chris Stapleton’s version of the anthem.  I was busy cleaning the carpet when a slab of ribs slathered in BBQ sauce slid off the plate between the deck and the kitchen. My wife said she thought the anthem performance was pretty good, and looking at the internet it seemed pretty well received.

It's always been a soft spot to me when the fighter Jets fly over at the end. The timing...cool stuff.
