Can you narrow down both 6-17" and where "up North" starts & ends?   ;)

We have been on the edge on the last couple. This time we are supposed to be in the bullseye.....1to 2 FEET.

Conflicting forecasts for here depending on whose forecasts one looks at. NWS is calling for .2" - .5" of rain Tues. & Wed. with 50 mph wind gusts Wed. & Wed. nite. Channel 5 this morning was saying 1" - 2" of rain for us. As long as we stay out of the snow and don't get any of the treatment that they got recently around Cedar Rapids & IA City, I'm OK with it.

The TV just showed 11.8 for us and Accuweather has us in the 12-18 area.

If that happens we will lose power. The stuff we got yesterday is clinging to the tree branches and that was less than 2" here.

Definitely appears to be going north this time. I get notifications for Flanders in Ontario. Looks like 25 cm there so ~ 10". Prolly no spring trip that direction this year.

They are also saying 55-60 mph winds Dutch.  That's not good. I told the wife they better not make them go to work on Wed.

Right after the snow storm our temps turn to the 50's.  It will be wet as heck for awhile melting that snow.

Anybody concerned about flooding again this year?

Upped ours at the lake to 9" in the next 48 hours now  & the 10 day says 40 or < 'til Saturday. Look out after that though, 50-60 with rain by the following weekend.

Not sure which one to believe.   One says 15 and one says 3-5 now for today and 1-3 tonight....  either way not a lot to do except clean it up.   Water should be running hard next week with the higher temps.

On the positive side around here it should bring the lake levels up closer to where they should be.
