I've been on that Pike lake once with permission of the farmer on the south side of it and the north side of Little Bowstring. Deep clear lake.

thats friggin crazy.......that lake aint but 5-6 miles pretty much striaght south of us and we never got any hail.

i sure hope the damage was minimal!!!!!!

Roony, you probably crossed across the property that my brother and his wife have now. They bought it in 2019 or 2020.

I 1st seen that very same video on WCCO & the Duluth(CBS) channel on their day-break news/weather early Thursday.

Had some rain and wind about 2:30 this afternoon. We went up to the Timber Wolf for dinner about 5:00. Lots of signs of hail along Highway 38 with leaves snd small branches down all along the road.  Took the backroads on the way home and several smaller trees down and piles of hail along the sides of the road.

Ya, that storm just caught us a little bit. The really bad stuff stayed to the east of us thankfully.

It is not as good as it was in the past. We’ve probably been there three times since the ownership change, hoping that it would improve, but I think we’ll avoid it for a long spell after yesterday. Some food was cold and the overall quality was not all that good. It was really packed with people when we got there, but the servers did pretty well on keeping up.
