got half inch here. my phone blew up this morning in a huge group text. my SIL @ BIL have a camper at the old wagon campground where we used to be, apparently about 11;30 last nite a tree went threw the roof of there camper!!!!!!! sounds as though everyone is OK

boober texted Mike and i this morning said he heard trees and boat lifts are tipped  in the new london area, where the campground is located!

One of those sticky, icky days of summer. Heat index of 97 so fat man warnings are out. I need to go fish 4 sticky traps out of a corn field and install 4 fresh ones. Not looking forward to it. Fortunately they're in the field around my house so I can chill afterwards before I do the chores. Then it'll be time to chill in the AC for good. .32" at the ranch & .37" in Bugtussle. When I looked at the forecast yesterday morning, it said 1" - 2" expected for here. By evening, it was adjusted downward to .25" - .5". There was heavier rain between here & the Twin Chitties up to 2".
