We are going to have 30's for the highs along with some 40's for the next couple of weeks it looks.  Will be close to 50 middle of next week.  Mayhaps Dotch will get his lawn chair out and relax a bit.    :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Hope you’re using the ship Wi-Fi, Ken. Last year I was down there and accidentally had my cellphone roaming. That resulted in a huge bill, and suspension of service. Took a month to straighten it out when I got home.
Have a good time. Wear earplugs at the piers so the steel drum music doesn’t wreck your hearing.

Started WiFi at halfway point. Only problem I have had is when going to the ports I get a backache from walking on the uneven bricks. Every port has old bricks from ships in the market area. So can't spend more than an hour ashore unless on an excursion.

Been real light moisture coming down here too.  Freezing and making the snow kind of crunchy.

Kinda drizzling-misting perhaps here. Nothing frozen or slippery however. Still some snow around the building sites, in the ditches, fencelines and groves. Most of that will likely be gone if their forecasts for next week are correct. Just looking at those forecast highs and the bare, black ground around here, I'd be surprised if they don't revise those highs upwards once the sun comes out. I see the SROC in Waseca measured their frost depth at 15" under bare soil on the 22nd. Without precipitation, it will take some time for that to come out but we're in no hurry to start messing around in the fields just yet.
