1 to 2 inches here tomorrow also. More east if here.

Weather forecast from Bring Me The News.....

A flood watch has been issued for a vast area of Minnesota ahead of potentially severe storms on Tuesday that will bring torrential rain to the state.

The seven-county Twin Cities metro is among the areas included in the flood watch, with the National Weather Service warning that "excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations."

The watch area extends to numerous counties in central, south-central, east-central and northeastern Minnesota, where there is the chance that in excess of three inches of rain will fall.

No rain yet, TWC's site says ~10. Got a Flood Watch though. The Duluth stations rainfall map has backed off a little & had GR with just < 2" total as well as Bemidji down to ~ 3" now. They're talking some really big wind, gusts to 60 with tornadoes possible, to their east along the south shore of Superior near the UP today.

They are calling that tornado a landspout equivalent to an EF0 tornado. I hadn't heard of that before. I still wouldn't want to have it go through my place!

Some spectacular light shows around last nite but not a lot of rain here. Some hail & 1.5" up near Janesville last nite around 11 p.m. Only .16" at the ranch & .20" in Bugtussle. Brother west of Cedar Fallls in IA measured 3.8" overnite & it was raining again this a.m. They were dry however, having missed when we got hit more times than not. Collected ~ another .20" here in town this a.m. so far so it's staying on the wet side. NWS forecast still calling for 1" - 2" here for today, potentially some severe stuff later this afternoon. Looks like we get a breather for a couple days then rain on tap again starting Thursday nite. Great mosquito weather...🦟 🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟

As of 11:00 this morning, we had .3" of rain in the old gauge. By 11:30, the sun was trying to poke through.
A gal I know in northern Indiana lost some trees, and a shed and lost power last night. No clue when they'll get power back.

Nuttin like that here.  Hope it doesn't materialize for you fellers.

Only 54 here and already over 1/2 of rain.  Gotta take the long way around from cabin to shed.  puddles  galore.

May need to commence  :drinking: shortly.  :rotflmao: :happy1:

I'll take a major blizzard over a tornado. But tornadoes are more fun to chase.

Nothing here yet.  When I look at the radar on Accu it shows its raining here.  It is hazy out. Think it is breaking up right before it gets here.  Happens a lot.

Checked ours @ 2:30 & it looked like ~.8" then to me. A steady rain here too, the hourly says it might be 9 or 10 tomorrow before it lets up.

Sorry to hear this. Best wishes to him.

Here we had .9" in the gauge this morning and another 1.8 so far today. One thing we definitely don't need is any more damn rain!
