Only .6" of rain here but we got it in about 20 minutes. It was here and gone quick.
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

Nothing here, our Paul Bunyan 24/7 local radar station showed it staying down along Hwy 2 & that's ~ 20 miles south of us. Did see a video of some 1.5 " hail around Deer River though. Baseball sized in Chisolm & much of the rest of the Iron Range got hit hard.

Forecast from NWS was for quarter to a half inch yesterday. Should've taken the over. Wound up with 1.29" at home & 1.22" in Bugtussle. Rained hardest from noon to 1 p.m. Finally stopped a little after 2. Most of the potholes in the fields are full of water again.  Looks like we're due for an encore this forenoon sometime. Poppy will likely get a dog day. Maybe I'll get a glenn nap out of the deal!

Speaking of hail, I just got a letter from my insurance company stating all policy holders roofing and siding will be prorated, and only damaged roofing and siding will be replaced, even if there is a noticeable discoloration between the new and existing materials. If you want it all replaced, you pay for it. I’ve heard this was coming.

And the worse part is they are raising the rates on top of it. We got the same letter a few weeks ago.  :bs: But they have been doing that for years.

about .11" so far. Brief passing showers off and on part of the afternoon, finishing with a heavy downpour just after 5. Looks like based on the radar & the forecast, the real stuff should get started between 7:30 & 8 p.m. The atmosphere is definitely juiced.

Buddy of mine west of Waldorf had 2.6" & the guy west of Owatonna had 1.78". Looked like it tracked more west & north. We had 1.05" at the ranch, .94" in Bugtussle & only .4" NW of Hartland. Judging by the forecast, some of us could get caught up. Rain in the forecast every day over the next week. Downright windy here = no bugs. That or the wrens ate them... :coffee:

We only got 1/4" out of it. That is ok.
