Raining west of Mankato but looks like that system is starting to weaken. Should be some precip here by around 11 but prolly won't amount to much. Some big cracks in the ground out in the fields yesterday already. Only a couple weeks ago we were saying please, make it stop.

Rained some more this morning too.  We got 3/8" yesterday and so far 3/8" today.  Still lots of puddles.

Showed .28" in my gauge late Tuesday morning. Heading west out of Mapleton about 9:30, had to pull over. Rain and hail.
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

Been raining on and off all afternoon.  Coming down hard at times. I think it and the thunder are moving out. ??

Talked to a guy I haven't seen in years. His grandson is having a terrible time with our weather. Seems he spent the last few summers working at some research station in Antarctica. At that time he said the temperature there was something like -45°F with a feels like of -85°F.

  • Twins fan.
It was to hot & humid to even sit under the awning and read today, even with the breeze / wind it was to much.

Absolutely pouring out now.  Gonna look like noone lives here the grass will be so long.  Thunder and lightning now too. Looks like it may last awhile too.

Yea the radar looks quite colorful up your way.

Like Gunner said it appears all that activity is sliding north and off to the west. I'm OK with that.

That was a hit and miss rain last nite. .08" at the ranch & .64" in Bugtussle. Nothing in Waldorf & .3" by Hartland. More in the forecast for Wednesday nite into Thursday.

Watching the forecast rainfall amount dwindle every time I look at it. This after I watered the main garden last nite! Going to stop looking at the forecast. After getting our hopes up a few days ago thinking we'd be getting an inch or so, now we're down to a tenth to a quarter tonite & less than a tenth tomorrow. As shallow as the root systems are on some of these crops & vegetables, an inch of rain would really be a blessing.

We have some rain headed at us but it is breaking up as it gets closer.  I see another front behind it that may get close to us later this afternoon. Pretty humid out with very little wind.
