Ya, I don't have a lot of faith in what my app is saying. It's claiming that between tonite about 6 p.m. & tomorrow afternoon we should have slightly more than an inch. Believe that when I see it.  :coffee:

Thunder now. Saying 70 mph wind and penny sized hail possible. Should be here in 8 minutes or so. :surrender:

Yikes.  70 MPH.  I hope for everyone's sake they are over-exaggerating the forecast again.

Looks like you guys are getting wailed on.  Just got dark and windy here.  Lost power for a couple of minutes but glad it came back on.  It is 92 here and the UPS guy asked to use the hydrant to run cold water over himself.  No AC even in the newer smaller trucks.

Didn’t get much out the first storm. Another just west of Alex and big guy just west of Morris right now. All seem to be moving to the east.

Still 87 degrees here at 7  p.m. Dotch predicts: We won't get squat for rain. Everything is going off to our north.

I was surprised to see 1.7" in the gauge this morning. That should hold us for a while.

Our gauge reads 1.85". We watered the gardens Wednesday morning.
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

Was amazed when I looked in the gauge this a.m. I read on the Climate FieldView app that I had 2.4". Hmmm...when I looked in the official MN Climatology Dept. gauge though it measured 3.33". My gauge sits smack dab in the middle of their coverage area. So much for computer accuracy. Bugtussle garnered 3.15". My reverse psychology must've worked! There was only .34" in the ranch gauge when I let Poppy out to poop about 10 p.m. Figured that was all she wrote. Then it really let 'er beller between 11 and midnite. Usually Poppy doesn't get worked up about storms. This time she seemed agitated & woke me up about the time it was storming. Otherwise I would've slept through it. About 15 years ago, a strong thunderstorm knocked down several trees in the yard & stuck a hunk of another one thru the side of the house about 15' from where I was sleeping. Never heard it. 😴
