Currently 10 at the ranch with a wind chill of -7. 46 mph gust at 5:15 during chores. Had one gust at 54 mph at 3:15. Wind should throttle down overnite to 5 - 15 for tomorrow.

Was stuck at 49 when we were under the clouds. Once they left, we've made it to fitty tree! Asian ladybird beetles are coming out of the woodwork, literally. Think I'll go out & pick up white pine cones when AZ St. is done clobbering IA St. Mrs. Cheviot is running errands so Poppy & I might sneak a glenn nap in before she gets back.

There was a mosquito in the house a couple days ago.
Squashed it.

It topped out at 54 at the ranch this afternoon. Supposed to make mid-40's mañana. Hopefully they're 4 degrees low like they were on today's forecast.

 Right around feezing for temps in your area too, mike. So, the roads could get pretty dicey. The hourly for LP has rain from ~ 7:30 to around 10. Drive careful & walk like a penquin if you gotta go out.

Looks like it is supposed to start here around 0800.  We can use the moisture but sure do not need the ice.   However it comes bring it.

Looks like we get another free pass today. Revised forecast gives us a high of 53 under partly sunny skies. Need to get outside & enjoy it. Might be the last one of these for a while altho looks like a 40 degree high mañana.

Looking at the river this morning.  It is darker due to the snow melting I suppose.  I also see a bigger dark spot that may be a crack.  If we get the wet heavy snow it won't be good for the river or the lake. 34 and 85% humidity right now.  Very humid outside, can even feel it when you go out.

Back from FF. Saw 53 on the trusty Dotch pickemup thermo meter on my way back. Clouded up & cooled down a tad to fitty.

My phone says 37 here. Out putting the new battery in the truck had a few dribbles but nothing wet. It's tolerable but a damp chill

It is just out right raining in the Bemidji area right now.  Most of the snow we had is going to be gone here in just a bit.  32 degrees and rain.  Never a good combination.  I just shoveled about quarter inch of slush off the porch.

 Can't really tell but it looks like they might've got an inch or 2 down by us. Kind of looks like they could've had a little freezin rain too.

We had 30 to start this a.m. Supposed to rise to the low 40's by noon then taper off to about freezing by 5 p.m.
