I think the skiff of snow we got was the big event.  Doesn't look like much is going to happen now.

We wound up getting more than I thought we would after looking at the radar late afternoon yesterday. It was falling apart before it got here. .4" at the ranch & . 3" in Bugtussle after dark mostly. It got the ground white, most of it anyway. Talking 1" - 2" of snow Saturday nite here.

Looks like about 3-4 inches here. But now the wind is going strong. 25 mph gusting to 35. And Temps dropping. probably not worth using the snow blower until it settles down.

      I saw an overnight low of -12°F. Will it be significantly colder up north? Just my opinion here but , -12°F isn't that cold for this time of year. We've all seen colder. I still like the cold.

yea......when i looked for around the cabin it said -23 at some point!!!!!

here in cold spring the weather channel has -18 for sunday night. it wouldnt be a big deal cept i work the store by 5 am monday !!!!! i venture to guess if there's no wind it may be tolerable for shorts stents outside. 

good thing i put a new battery in da truck!!!!!

NWS forecast calling for lows of -9 Saturday nite & -14 Monday & Tuesday nite. Sunday's high -2 & -4 Monday. Yee hah. The good news is next week looks more promising once we get past Tuesday, with highs back in the upper 20's & low 30's, possibly sailing on thru the end of the month like that on some longer term outlooks. Also some indicating more potential for snow as we move into Feb.

Got graupeled on yesterday about 4:30 in the afternoon. Temp is up to 36 now with wind out of the NW at 15 mph. Have been gusts over 20. When you get out of the wind, it's downright pleasant. Waiting for the other shoe to drop over the weekend. Some chilly temps ahead but we're lucky there isn't much snow cover or it would likely be much colder.

I messed around in the woods for a while after the wind went down a bit. It was nice and comfortable. It sounds like the wind will be doing its thing tomorrow.
