-20 overnite & -17 at choretime. Luckily chores are only a half hour to 45 minutes when nothing is birthing. Wind was worse during evening chores than this a.m. The only thing I'm having problems with (other than glenn of course :rotflmao: ) is getting the gaiter adjusted on my face so it doesn't fog my glasses up. Must've had it right last nite but this a.m. when I got in the lambing barn my glasses fogged up and I couldn't see squat. There's a ram in with that group so you're defenseless if you can't see him fixin' to take a whack atcha. Pickemup was a little grumpy about starting but it took off. The windows were all thawed off by the time I showered & hopped in to head to Bugtussle. The frost is like it's glued on so don't even bother to scrape it. Had rocketed up to -14 by then. See in Waseca it's reached -11. Things are lookin' up.  :happy1:

It's still gonna be cold doing chores methinks. Says it's 9 above but the wind is blowing out of the south at 20 mph, gusting to 26 for a wind chill of -10. Stood outside for a while fueling up. Pickup was thirstier than I thought so had to jump back in the cab to stay warm.  :cold:

Man just went outside to tend the fire and grain Bucko.  That wind is howling more than it was earlier.  Gusting to 31 I see.

I heard Glenn had to chisel his dog off of the fire hydrant this morning.

Now that I look out it looks like we have a good 3" too.  Looks fluffy.  I need to plow that up today and that will help with dog turds too.  LOL

Wouldn't it have been terrible to go there for a week and have it snow?   What a bummer.

We had just enough snow overnight to turn the ground a little white again.
