What do you do Bobb and are you close to retirement?

It's a union gig, some inside work and lotsa outside also. Shooting for 4 yrs, I'll only be 60 but if the stars aline I'll be done with full-time.

      Here's a quick question for all you fine folks.
      When you want or need to look at a weather forecast for the next couple of days, what source, or sources do you trust? I tend to go to NWS but our local TV station has a much better radar.

NWS is usually tough to beat, but when it comes to phone apps like one meteorologist pointed out, they only have 1 source of info. Hourly is usually pretty close in temp is usually close but that's about it.

i look at several.....accuweather......NWS and weather channel'

latley i google up WJON....its a local st cloud country radio station. fortunately for me i dont gotta listen to the music looking it up on my laptop or phone!!!!

I see they've changed our 10-day a bit already. Cooler on Friday now but Sunday through Tuesday have gotten warmer. Back to a WNW wind by Tuesday though, so it won't feel that nice then. Not gonna be surprised if they revise this 1 a time or 2 again.

      I wish we had local news and weather. Our local TV station is KEYC. We no longer get local (Mankato) news and weather in the mornings, noon or weekend. That all comes from Rochester, now.
      We only get local news Monday through Friday, evenings and 10:00. It sucks.

Our local news comes from Fargo.  How f___d up is that?  They all bought areas years ago and that is still the way it is.  I would rather have the Cities for the local so it is MN news not ND news. 6 miles east of here they get Duluth as the local news.

even at the cabin.....the channels we get all come out of duluth........different weather there then where we are at. if ya want local up there the radio is what we have to go to. either Bemidji or grand rapids!!

We have 3 cable stations that are 24/7 weather, 1 is out of Grand Rapids, & 1 of the others is out of Bemidji. But I usually go to the other 1 that is 24/7 local radar that's never more than 5 minutes old. That channel also has a constant NWS forecast for this area with current temps for both Bemidji & GR. I will check once every AM & see what WCCO's version is for the day too.
