Long as the road to Inger is open you should be good... :coffee:

Not pretty out there. I live on an east/west state highway. Since 8:00 this morning, one pickup truck, one JD tractor.
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

Wind, rain nor snow will keep him from Inger.

Roads are good up this way.  Might be some blowing snow in open spots that could be slippery.
Majority of it stayed south.

Got some paths shoveled so Poppy can do her business more easily. Thought the snow was deep right north of house but it's worse on the south side, up to 3'  deep. Snow has stopped but the wind is still gusting up to 40 mph. Prolly wait for that to go down before getting after it with the skidsteer. Cage but no cab.  :pouty:

At 2:20 this afternoon, I saw my first MNDoT plow of the day. Not complaining. I know them folks have been kind of busy the past few days. Kudos to them.

Took the warden to work around noon. Barely made it off my gravel road to one the county deems worthy of plowing. Its still plenty windy out there. I'll take my pickup when I go in to get her. Its a 2wd but the clearance underneath is nice. Not sure how much we got but it was great plenty. I see there was a major pile-up on 35 down in Iowa. Some people are having a bad day there.

I checked 511ia, roony, & there's ~ 20 miles of I 35 a little north of Ankeny still shut down. That stretch from Story City, which is ~ 15 miles north of Ames, all the way to Des Moines, which is ~ 45 miles, is a lot like driving in the TC during rush hour, all the time.

Yes we have a son and his family in KC so we drive that stretch a few times a year. Just drove it on Sat and Monday. We saw a few close calls.

Remeasured after moving the crap. Well over the 8.2" I measured earlier. 10.4". Probably the most miserable snow removal job I've ever done between heavy, wet snow, & 2" - 3" of mud on top of frozen soil. Yard looks like a disaster area.   :embarrassed:
