Yep, the Anchor is in Superior on Tower Avenue. Small, old, limited menu, no credit cards. Funky decor and gets pretty crowded. Tables are often shared with strangers. Mostly known for individually made hamburgers and lots of fries. Lots of variety on the burgers and toppings. They do have some ham, ham and cheese, and BLTs. No chicken, no fish. Reasonable prices. Was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives once.

Rain is freezing here now. Flag on the garage sounds like it’s made of plastic. Windows on plow truck beginning to ice over too. Oh well…

Wind is howling & we're right on the edge of the heavy rain. Rains off & on with intervals of thunder & lightning. Looks worse back to the west by Mapleton & beyond where on radar anyway it looks like mixed precip of some sort. About 36° w/a NE wind at 26 gusting to 33 mph. Good nite to be inside.

ice covering everything it looks like at the moment..   no snow here..  going for 40 today..  now the forecast for Tuesday into Wed. is looking very interesting..

After receiving 1.43" of rain the past 24 hrs., feeling lucky. We were on the eastern edge of the heavier rain. Ellendale had .97" and 2" to close to 3" from Waseca to Owatonna not uncommon. Supposed to diddle around today alternating between snow, sleet & rain then become all snow tonite. Encore performance Tuesday into Wednesday, starting as snow on Tuesday then becoming all rain on Wednesday. As long as I don't have to shovel anything, we're good.  :coffee:

That's provided what there estimating for snow totals to be accurate,  and that hasn't happened in a while .

Just got in from chores & I swear there was some thunder graupel. There were also 3 bunnies in the backyard here! After planting some garden yesterday, I fear I have awakened the Easter Bunny and filled him with a terrible resolve.
