I been labeled a redneck since before I can't remember when....

When I proposed to my wife, I let her know what she was getting into before we married.

With that being said, I went to Menards the other day and picked up some ruff sawed cedar planks. When I was hauling them into the man cave, the wife saw me and asked "What the hell are you building now?" I told her... "One of those projects where you ask me "Why?"

Anyways, here's what I did....
I built a door for the furnace room and added a redneck urinal. And yes, I used a blow torch to burn the 🌙 on the door. 😂

I'm guessing that's where the floor drain comes in, that pump will get a workout!  ;)

It'll get mixed good with the water coming from the furnace, our pump runs quite a bit.  Makes me wonder what the next tech out for service thinks...lol.

If I could give it a like I would! It's along the lines of the one we had when I worked at the elevator. Bud, a guy who used to weld at Herters & ran the shop, cut a hole in the side of the seed & chemical storage area. No engineer but pretty handy. He ran a piece of sprayer hose out the hole that he'd attached to a gallon jug with the bottom cut out. When it rained the grass was really green back there. When it didn't, the grass was really brown. Went on for years. A lot of beer from the shop went thru that funnel before one of the owners saw it.
Time itself is bought and sold, the spreading fear of growing old contains a thousand foolish games that we play. (Neil Young)

You did good HD.  Fine piece of plumbing.  So how high is it?  Do you have to stand on a milk crate to use it?  Roony wondered.  LOL

Yup, kinda boring.....
I have the truck hooked up to the boat waiting, but today it's kinda crappy outside.

So......I decided to fix a few things.
I made a shelf to add an old school TV to the man cave to play duck hunt on....
Added the pee trap...
Made cages for the shrubs so the deer don't eat them...
Hung a couple more wood duck houses....
Put up a turkey blind....
Did oil changes on the lawn mowers......
Watered the plants under the grow light....

Switched from beer to scotch, so..........  :drinking: I'm good!

What did you do today Glenn?
