Won 4 - 1. Not pretty but they kept Ohio St. in check & controlled the game when they needed to. Let's hope it's the start of an improvement. Not holding my breath... :coffee:

So when did beating Ohio State in Hockey become something to be proud of? I can understand losing to be an embarrassment but winning?

I wonder if the OSU football crowd is proud beating Minnesota?    :rotflmao:

Personally, I have not liked Ohio State ever since Woody Hayes punched an opposing team player.
      But that's just my opinion.

Oh I have faith. It's just that going from a real hockey conference like the WCHA to the Big $$ conference is like watching New Jersey Wives or the Bachelor. I just view it all as being phoney.

Gophers chit the bed 3-2 at home against Notre Dame thanks to poor goaltending early. Typical Friday nite game. Dig a hole they can't climb out of. Now they'll need all 3 games to advance. DF's...

I was a bit surprised by the stats of this game.
I did watch part of the WCHA games. Looks like Wisconsin beat Minnesota Duluth, Minnesota beat Ohio State. Tomorrow, Minnesta and Wisconsin play for the conference championship.

Any ideas where I might be able to catch the Gophers and Irish play?

Gophers playing not lose. Down 2-0 in the 2nd. Flat footed on defense & like Micheletti keeps saying, turning it over at the blue line. Gotta hustle & get more physical.

Outshoot Notre Dame 39-21 & lose 4-1?!?! Played like they didn't care. Must've wanted the 3 weeks off. Pathetic performance. Herbie is rolling over in his grave. 🙄
