Leech,  I seriously thought of it but they bring the goodies out in small batches. Sometimes there ain't much left on the plate when it gets us.

It's not a buffet.  It's not a big official feed, just something a bunch of guys do in cooperation with the bar that agrees to do it.

Bar makes out on sales.

Good to hear that.  They don't call it pot luck for nuthin.

At my first Wild Game Feed at the gun club (I was in 8th or 9th grade) my dad and I weren't the greatest of hunters, so we didn't have any freezer meet to contribute.  But he did have a 10 gallon jug of homemade "wild" grape wine, so it fit the occasion.

Long story short... the homemade wine, made with inferior grapes by someone doing it for the first time, didn't turn out so well.  To make up for that... he had me hold the funnel in the jug while he poured in the Everclear til it tasted better.  His buddies were very complimentary of his donation to the event.  Also, it wasn't my first drink, but it was the first time I ever got blitzed.

RIP, Dad.

at this feed your welcome to bring any type of fish or wild game, but  :tut: :tut: :tut: on bringing in booze......thats what compensates the bar as they close down the grill for the day just for the game feed!

come to think of it i was told someone was bringing tree rats......but i didnt see any!!!! :doah:

Glad it went well Glenn. Sorry I  couldn't make it. The only game feed I have every attended was put on by Pheasants Forever, a buddy of mine got tickets to it and there were some really awesome fishing trips and other stuff that they raffled off. We both wish we would have known better what was going on we missed a shot at a sweet fishing trip to Canada for cheap.
