Rodents win 27-0. As bad as they are, I still would've rather been watching that as opposed to hanging around a wedding reception. Next up: The Hawkeyes at home. Gophers might not win another game the rest of the season. Sharpen yer pins, dutchy!

So what was up with that.  27-0 makes me think that wasn't a top flite team we played.  LOL

Ya, report said they were up 20 - 0 at half. Only scored one touchdown in the 2nd half. Nevada had the ball on the Gopher 16 and the defense picked off a pass to keep them from scoring. I fully expect Floyd will reside in IA City for another year after next week's game.

We watched most of it and all of a sudden the wife gets up and goes outside to work on her new firepit location in the third quarter.  She has never done that before.  LOL  It got pretty boring so I joined her in the 4th qtr.

i thought they played pretty good the first 1/2. but Iowa changed things up the 2nd 1/2. they really started putting pressure on the QB!!!!

Having bitterly watched the Gophers hoist Floyd of Rosedale in Iowa last year after a controversial 12-10 loss sealed by a fair catch signal call that negated a punt return touchdown by Cooper DeJean, the Hawkeyes (3-1, 1-0) had a blast in the Big Ten opener on their border-state rival's home turf.
