I can remember when they use to say  you could walk on 2" of clear ice. Then it was 3". Now they say 4". Is this because we are getting older and fatter?

The satellite shows most of the western 1/2 of URL still looking pretty dark. Looks like there's a big crack coming close to 2/3 of the way across the lake from a little east of the NW corner to the SE too. It probably wouldn't take too much wet, heavy snow to mess with that, I would guess. :scratch:
