anyone here fish this lake at all or especially during hardwater???????

i ask because when i went there with a friend the access in town said danger thin ice. was kinda wondering how accurate this is. leads me to believe lotz of springs????

but holy crap for some fancy places on that lake........UFFDA!!!!!!  :shocked:

That sign has been there forever. If I recall it's pretty weedy also which can lead to thin ice. Springs are also a good possibility, in any event I would heed the signs. Theres about a 100 lakes around there.

Qe fished in 17-20 ft of water for sunfish and yea there were weeds that deep. Pretty clean clear water .

Hopefully fish it again this summer.  From what I see, even during the week, plenty of recreational activities on the lake. Did good fishing sunfish! :happy1:
