New pics.  I finished the hinged back end so I can check the oil and so I can see inside.  Works great.  What a pain to find and take out the 8 bolts to take the back off.  Glad I don't ever have to do that again.  My retired buddy who worked for the County as an Operator came over and he put the hydraulic thumb on it whilst I was working on the hinges.  Had a great time!  Will put the two fans in for extra cooling next.  They really overheat with no fans.  The gas tank is on top of the B&S 13.5 hp motor and is right below the seat.  I guess they can get so hot that the heat expands the gas and pressurizes the gas tank.  That doesn't sound good at all.  So the standard is to get two fans and put one on each side.   I will switch them separate so I can run 1 at a time. The debate is: #1.  Have both fans blowing fresh air in to cool it and let the hot air go out the back.  #2.  Have one fan blowing in right on the hydraulic filter side and the other blowing out the other side to evacuate the hot air. I can see merits to both.  I will hook up my fans so I can just switch the wires at the fan to change the direction of the fans.   Then I can change oil on the motor too and put on the new drain hose kit.  It is real low on hydraulic oil so will change that once I get the right fittings on the thumb.  Will get rid of the chinese oil which isn't to good.  I even heard it is vegetable oil but don't know how true that is. Will have to get the ripper and a quick change kit yet.  I will wait till spring so the wife can absorb this first.  LOLOL
