Exactly Scenic. Over the years we've only had 1 card that got compromised,  it was debit and caught while scrolling thru the app the same day. Problem with canceling a card is alot of other accounts are tied to them so it's a pain that end of it. Go figure tho Glenn,  it was an eatery in St. Cloud that took the cards #, they bought 2 smaller stuff( which we seen) probably before they spent big..
yep....thats what the financial institution said too!!!! they start out with a small charge.........if its not reported.caught they go big purchases!!!!

I’ve had that happen, too, and years ago I had checks and credit cards stolen and used. Long story on getting that straightened out, but I never had to pay for anything. In more recent times, I’ve received alerts from the bank on credit card charges that looked suspicious. I also look at the app on my phone about every other day. I’ve questioned transactions and had them resolved with no problem.
I’m with you on auto payments, Glenn, except for the monthly sweeps from my checking account to pay the credit card bills. That’s ok because I’ve already reviewed the charges. Other than that, I want to control when I pay bills.
