is the ice coming off yet

hey guys what is up i was just wondering if any of you guys have heard if the ice is coming off  the lake yet in places i am going up to fish in one week and hope that the ice will be off buy then.( i will be fishing off shore just so you know)

A guy I work with was up there last weekend and he said he should have brought his extention. If you can find a spot to access the ice you should be OK, but I think most of the resorts are already thinking about open water. I heard a couple resorts were already dredging they're harbors.
He's heading up again tomorrow. I'll pass on a report when I talk to him in the AM on Monday.

thanks for the response guys but i am not taking a boat out i am fishing in a shallow channle were the ice has started to come off allready but i just hope that i have some casting room.

YEP it is a secret spot by my grandpas place.  we have gone for years conects to the lake.

just to keep you guys posted the water level in this channel is down about  ten feet and i dont think that the fish will be able to get in there at all this year.
