New 30-30...I'm so proud.
I know, I know...It's just a 30-30.
Yeah Right! Stainless Steel and the Laminated Stock make it look nice but the lever action makes it "My kinda gun".
The Hornady "LEVERevolution" ammunition makes it a 250 yard "Brush Gun". (so the advertisement say's)

Either way I like it alot and is well worthy of being handed down to my son.

Dang, I forgot the Stuff on the rifle!

It's a Marlin 336XLR with a Cabela's 3-9x40 scope. (Designed for Hornady)

Plan on doing some practice shooting with it soon. I'll let you know how accurate it is then.

just wondering what kind of yardage's you have shot with it and how acorrect it is.

Big slick, nothing wrong with the 30-30. I carried a little savage bolt for meny years and took a lot of game with it.My son also started with this same gun and now my grandson is useing it. My bro bought the gun new for $34 back in the late 50"s.
 That is one seet looking lever you have.
