Well a couple weeks ago on here I posted in the wanted forum about a ground blind. Jigglestick cane through for me and sent me one for a great price. Thanks JS!

Anyways. I set it up a few days ago about 30yds from my deer feeder. I finally tested it out tonight after the little one went to bed. I grabbed a chair from the kitchen table 2 beers and headed out. I spooked a couple deer away but once I was set up they were back in about 5 minutes. Now that I live a half hour (not far at all) away from the city I don't have any friends anymore so I am forced to drink beer with the deer. Well tonight I made some good friends. It was pretty cool! I felt like I could reach out and touch them! As it started to get darker I saw a monster deer moving in. It never fully made it to the feeder but he or she was a big one. It made the other deers bodies look like yearlings. I can't wait until we get some antlers on these deer. Last year there was a few monsters around! Well anyways, thats about it. What a great way to spend an evening. Next time I'm going earlier and bringing a 6 pack and a camera!

Good times...... ;)

I work evenings so it will probably be next week on my days off. I will have to limit myself as after a few I may get Beer Goggles and ya never know......might end up spending a night in the woods..... ::cheers::

Wouldn't that be funny.....come to my house in the morning and there is me and a deer in my kitchen eating breakfast. :ROTFLMAO:

That sounds great Mayfly.  But yea next time you have to have a camera with you.  Might just have to head out that way and set up in the blond with the camera some night.  I will bring the beer!!!
