Mille Lacs Ice is Off! And has been!
My brother went up to Mille Lacs looking for some crappies. I read a report somewhere on Friday that said there was still ice on the main lake. It was evening when he arrived. When he stopped at Johnsons Portside to ask about the ice they said it came off Wednesday. Anyways, he took a long boat ride that evening and no there is no ice! They didn't have any luck either. I'm heading up Tuesday to get prepared for the coming season! May wet a line.....we'll see.
