where is the public launch in stillwater? i went thru there and all i saw was marinas

There's one in Bayport which is just south of Stillwater on 95.  I think you turn left by Woody's bar and grill and go straight and you'll come up to the park/boat landing.  I may be off by a block or 2; I've only used it once and that was for ice fishing.  Good Luck.

The Bayport lauch is in the park, it is $20 to lauch now, MetroJoe and I found this out last summer, we laughed at the lady when she wanted to charge us $20 at 5pm, she said there was a discount if you launched before 9am, but if you launch in the evening and only plan on fishing a couple of hours, it costs more???

There is a nice public launch about a mile North of Stillwater on hwy 95, it is on the right side of the road.

No other public launches from Stillwater to Afton, they all charge $15-$20 now.
