Opener on URL
I spoke with my folks yesterday, they were up to the cabin in Waskish.  They said that there were a ton of people up for th opener.  They spoke with the DNR and were told that there were more people up at URL this year then last year when the lake was reopened for walleye.  Anyways, they fished only on Saturday.  The water temp is still very cold.  They ice just went off about a week and a half ago.  They trolled out to the mouth of the river and ended up with their limit for four of them.  They through several smaller (under the slot back) ones back.  They had a great fish fry Saturday night and then had to head back home Sunday.  The weather was great (in the 60's). 

I will see if I can get a couple pictures from them to post.
