The fishing has been really good for walleye in 6 to 10 feet of water.  The crappie fishing is spotty.The guys told me yesterday they had the best day of fishing in their lives.  I would use one  of the accesses in Waskish to launch your boat.  Due to the low lake levels, their have been some problems launching from the south shore.

was it packed on opener, how was the wind that weekend, could you see lots of boats, did you find frost on the pumpkin this morning ::fishing::

Hey Russ.It was quite a bit busier then last year at the landing. The wind was not a factor on saturday as it was a beautifull day.
