GG just had a kidney transplant and not doing very well suffering from high fever and possible infection....will no more later..

dear god please here my request and see GirlGuide comes back to us safe and sound   dear lord here my prayers..

Hey gang, I just got this pm from Renee (GirlGuide) that she wanted passed on to the rest of the MNO family for her. Please keep Renee, her family and the doctors in your thoughts and prayers as they work through this. Thanks to everyone for your show of support and encouragement for Renee. 


Hey thanks so much for your kind words, thoughts and prayers.  Everyone here has just been so awesome to me, it's been great.  Well, I am keeping my computer plugged in and I will stay signed on so I can come on and off when I am able to. Although, I have been pretty out of it for the most part.  Well I just found out an hour ago or so that my kydney is almost 100% blocked, so in a half hour I am going down for another procedure, it's just a temporary fix until they can figure out exactly what is going on.  It could be an infection, or it could be a blood clot or who knows, so in the mean time they are going to put a tube in my back to bypass the blockage. It's not a major surgery, they are able to do this by just giving me some sleeping pills, general anestia, and a valium... Sounds like fun, huh?  lol....NOT...anyway, I am hoping for the best!!  I dont have time to let everyone know what's going on since they are on there way to get me, so if you can kinda let the gang know I would very much appreciate it!!  Thanks again so much to you and to all my MNO Family who have been awesome!!

Dont go replacing me in the chat room, cuz I am coming back!! Maybe even tonight if I'm not too out of it!!!  ::cheers::

I believe Renee is having the bypass tube put in this afternoon to bypass her kidney (or just the blockage, not sure)  until they can find out what all is causing the blockage and perform the appropriate procedures to correct the issue asap. I believe she has some kidney stones causing some blockage and possible infection or other form of blockage that they are not sure of yet. Will keep updating as I hear more on Renee and her condition.

I just heard from Renee, she said she is moving VERY slowly, barely moving is how she put it, but doing alright tonight considering...

They are still not able to keep her temp down, so she is on a lot of fluids and anitibiotics....so hopefully they will start working soon and take away the aching and pain she is likely feeling right now.

She was able to spend some time tonight with her husband and her 3 kids, and that seemed to cheer her up and help her feel "normal" for a bit she said.

GG says to tell everyone thanks for all of the prayers and support and she hopes to be back with us soon.

Hi Everyone,  I hope you are all doing great.  I am just going to give you a little update.  I got to come home yesterday afternoon, and I get to stay until Tuesday. I have a home care nurse that will come everyday to my house, so I can be home for a while.  On Tuesday, my family and I will then meet with my doctors on what will be the next step in getting my kidney fixed.  As of right now, I have a tube in my back that will have to stay there as a drain, until they are positive all my infection is gone.  I do possibly have to have surgery again, I of course am hoping that is not the case.  But whatever happens, it will be what it is.  We will deal with it as it comes.  I'm glad to be out of the hospital and home with my husband and kids.  Although, surprisingly, nobody is home but me right now.  The boys are at baseball with Dad, and my daughter is at a birthday party.  So, it is nice to have a minute to give you all an update,...although, I probably didn't post it in the right spot.  I'm not sure, hopefully.
I have to tell you something funny though, well I think it is funny.  I told you that I have a tube in back, and then I have tubes that come down from that, that go all the way down my leg where of course I have a "pee bag" hooked up to my thigh.  I have to drain this myself every couple of hours.  I can't even believe I'm telling you this...oh well....ANYWAY....my two bozo's (my boys Joey 4, and Billy 5) were in the bathroom when I came in there to drain my bag.  They are use to seeing the bag, but have never seen me drain it, so I let them watch.....Then they both immediately started laughing when I drained my bag...."Look, now Mom has a weenie too"!! :ROTFLMAO:  I just turned around and laughed, my two little dorks, they crack me up everyday....Well, hopefully Mom doesn't grow any Nuggets....because then you know, they'd have to check under there for ticks!!  Like I make them do! They would love that!!  Well, boys will be boys, and I wouldn't have it any other way.  Gotta love them!

Did I mention before I told that story that I am on vicodin, morphine & oxycodine.....hhhmmm..I didn't think so...just wanted to make a little justification?
Is it working...plus I don't think my husband would be very happy if knew I was talking about possibly growing some nuggetts!! :ROTFLMAO:
still laughing here....that's all that really matters right now!  I'm going to go before I bury myself any deeper, the guys are never going to let me hear the end of this one!
