Wow. 265 he's no leprechaun. (See if you can figure out that reference.)

The Pelican Lake thing I find really interesting. Pelican Lake is a big slough. When I was a kid my dad would drag me out there duck hunting. Never failed to freeze my ass off. I didn't even know it had fish in it. But I heard it mentioned a couple of times this spring. I want to check it out. Are there any bass in it?

I just weighed myself to be sure and the digital scale in the bathroom reads 270#. I could stand to lose a few pounds. ::hittingself::

Although I have not fished for bass in Pelican I was told that there was bass in the lake.

I spent many hours in the gym under a rack of weights but have put on about 30 pounds in the last few years. I think the wife's cooking had something to do with that. Her hobby is baking stuff....Yummy.

There are some decent average size in there, with a biggen mixed in every once in a while.  We sometimes get into them during the winter through the ice.
