I've never seen these before, but we are definately going to try them out.  In todays Fleet Farm add in the Sunday paper, there is a new pre rigged slip bobber for $1.99.  You can hardley buy a regular bobber for that cheap.  So I thought some of you might be interested. My husband went to pick some up today, so we can try them out next time we go out fishing.  I guess you just attach your line to the bobber, and everything slide up to the line, and it's fishin' time!  We'll see...sounds pretty easy.   ::fishing::GG

lmao Grute...too funny...I thought some of you might be interested in these.  I know when I saw them in the add, I thought "wow, if these work, boy they are going to go over HUGE".  Everyone seems to like the slip bobber, but they are a pain in the butt sometime when you want to get your line back in the water quickly!  I think my husband even mentioned to me once last year, "I wish they would come already done in a one package deal"...But you knew sooner or later, someone was going to make one..Well, let's see if they work...sure hope so!!  GG

My husband went out and bought some off these last sunday Holdem', but we haven't had the chance to give them a try yet.  So ORT said they worked pretty good?  I sure hope so, but for $1.99 it sure is worth the try!   ;)  Thanks for letting us know.  GG   ::fishing::

I did give that new pre rigged slip bobber a run yesterday in Waseca. It was easy to get on as everything is already rigged for you, all you have to do is tie on your line and slide the bobber stop up and pull the knot tight. Bait the hook and off you go. It's so easy I was even able to do it!!! I think for the next time I am gonna take the plain red hook off and put my chartreuse flu flu back on, but other than that I thought it worked well. This was the first time I have ever used a slip bobber so it did take me a little bit to get used to the slight difference between slip bobber and regular bobber for bite action, but i like it.

Lindy also has some with jigs on them and glass beads and blades.  They also have seperate pre tied rigs to use with slip bobbers you already have.

wallii1,

I looked on the Lindy site for these without any luck? Could you post a link or picture of these in a seperate thread.

It seems like a great idea for the novice fisherman or for people that haven't used a slip bobber before.

Thanks.

Here you go.  Hope this works.  I know Gander has them. I would think Fleet Farm would too.
